Business Analyst, Program Management



Overview: The Business Intelligence Analyst will provide support to the Director of Program Management and respective clients with respect to critical strategic initiatives focused on operational performance, communications, and overall business strategy. The business analyst will work with cross-functional team members to identify and prioritize actionable, high-impact advanced analytics projects across a variety of core business areas.



  • Use information from proprietary systems to conduct quantitative analysis; draw insights and help identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the Program Management team such as revenue and profitability analysis
  • Evaluate effectiveness of existing operational measures and develop new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ascertain performance of team in achieving quality and satisfaction targets.
  • Participate in business analysis activities to gather stakeholders’ reporting and dashboard requirements
  • Design & implement reports, dashboards and visualizations using data visualization business intelligence tools
  • Maintain documentation for design, development and reporting work
  • Share best practices and successes across the lines of businesses and geographies
  • Optimize reporting dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization
  • Gather member experience data and conduct analysis to identify gaps, opportunities and performance trends both internally and externally.
  • Make complex concepts simple and easy to understand by those around you through effective communication, planning and strategic execution
  • Work within our systems and with BA team to achieve high standards of data integrity, ensuring supporting metrics are accurate and complete




Required Skills:


  • 3 to 5 years of development experience using Tableau or similar self-service BI product


  • Experience in creating interactive dashboards with actions, parameter controls, and filters


  • Experience in analytics and reporting lifecycle


  • Background in preparing data for analysis, KPI definition, and reporting


  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses


  • Ability to work effectively as an individual and part of a team, meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads in a fast paced environment


  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see/understand the big picture, develop new ideas and think through creative solutions


  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English


  • Attention to detail


  • Ability to learn new skills quickly


  • Exceptional problem solving/critical thinking skills


  • Ability to maintain professionalism, focus and result-orientation under pressure and tight deadlines


  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent



Desired Skills:

  • Prior translation industry experience


  • Knowledge of SQL


  • Fluency in a foreign language
