Product Manager (GlobalLink)



Position Summary:

Within the GlobalLink team, the Product Manager is responsible for product planning for both our internal and external clients. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver innovative stable products.


Position responsibilities:

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap in close consultation with Solution Engineers, Internal Production and the VP of Technology
  • Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to release
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition
  • Track delivery schedules, ensuring proper quality assurance, and manage changes in work scope. Ensure compliance with Audit Requirements.
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Brief and train Solution Engineering, Support and Technical Sales teams
  • Perform other special projects or duties when required



Essential skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
  • Minimum of 1 year (Software) Localization experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Technical background, with experience in any of the following – software localization project management/engineering/QA, XML, Java, Ext-Js, Globalization/Translation Memory technology, Apache Tomcat
  • Excellent team skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
