Responsibilities

The position of the Account Manager is to engage customers at an enterprise level and generate interest in Translastions.com products and services. The Development team will make the initial client contact and relationship building to generate opportunities before hand off to the Sales team once interest is established and or once an appointment has been made.

  • In coordination with Sales Management, identify, qualify, develop and nurture sales opportunities
  • Acquire accurate prospective client data including names, titles, phone numbers, addresses and various other information.
  • Developing initial pipeline and work activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Utilize social skills and standing to best represent Translations.com in order to make a positive impression on prospective clients
  • Utilize creative skills to improve various processes within the Development team
  • Research and understand all industries that TransPerfect markets to including industry leaders, current events and any other pertinent data
  • Be knowledgeable in the translation industry including leaders, competitive data, proposal formats, competitive rates and marketing strategies
  • Perform other special projects or duties when required 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher level of education
  • Previous experience cold calling large corporations
  • Proven record of success achieving and exceeding quotas.

  • Self motivated and target oriented
  • Solid understanding of technical applications used for selling such as MS Office Suite, Salesforce.com etc

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in a localization related field
