Responsibilities

You will be in charge of the social media communication for a very well known brand full of potential. You will need to adapt the global content calendar to the Netherlands market managing the social media channels and taking the brand to the next level.

These will be your main responsibilities:

  • Manage the content calendar for the NL market: localize the global content calendar posts and ensure they meet the campaign & brand objectives and local cultural needs before publishing them.
  • Adapt the content to other social media channels like Twitter or LinkedIn.
  • Research and create local content that is relevant, creative, engaging and that adds value to the brand.
  • Conceptualize community-building ideas and support on their execution.
  • Adapt the content to a variety of different tones of voice for different channels.
  • Direct contact with the community and customer service.
  • Execution of paid campaigns.
  • Experience working with community management, social listening and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Radian6, Brandwatch and Google Analytics.
  • Social media monitoring and elaborating monthly reports against the KPI´s.
  • Reacting to data to improve the brand´s content strategy.
  • Evaluate social copywriting and community management industry trends and competitor activity.

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

 

You are a passionate, inquisitive and energetic Marketing or Advertising professional with a background in Social Media, curious about the emerging digital world and how it shapes our interaction with brands.

These are your main skills:

  • Passion for all things Digital
  • A creative mind – ‘Out of the Box’ thinker
  • Excellent communication skills - creative and compelling copywriting
  • Comfortable in the social media environment: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest, Flickr, Snapchat. In other words a native digital J
  • Ability to detect insights and translate them into opportunitiesto optimize organic and paid social media campaigns
  • Detail oriented and independent in carrying out assigned tasks
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work closely with remote teams
  • Advanced English skills (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Advanced Excel capabilities
  • Experience in Photoshop and any video editing tool preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree (preferably in Advertising or Marketing related studies).
  • Masters Degree in Social Media Strategy would be an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar position, ideally as a Community Manager in an agency environment.
