The position of Quality Manager is a key player at Translations.com. This position reports into the Department Manager. Your particular language skill will allow you to finalize the end product before it goes to the client.
Requires a four-year degree or higher, preferably in a foreign language
Native Japanese speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English
Ability to support multiple projects by keeping accurate and up-to-date project specs
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
Satisfactory results on company tests
Minimum passing grade (subject to individual language) on appropriate foreign language test, as applicable
Prior translation industry experience
Experience with Trados or SDLX
