  • Responsibilities

    QM Specialists are responsible for the proofreading and quality assessment for all projects assigned to them, using any necessary tools, glossaries or reference material required to successfully execute this task. 

    • Proofread all translated documents for grammar, punctuation and spelling errors
    • Format all translated documents to mirror the original source document
    • Give feedback to Project Manager re translated text in the form of a Q score
    • Suggest subjective changes regarding style, smoothness, and feel of translated documents
    • Utilize reference materials to maintain consistency across projects for individual clients
    • Create glossaries for individual clients to complement reference materials
    • Operate computer assisted translation (CAT) tools to improve efficiency
    • Efficiently maintains formal disciplined operations procedures across a variety of client projects
    • Track project-specific non-conformances and resolutions
    • Assist with making new department processes while improving on existing ones (improve productivity, profitability)
    • Maintain strong relationships with contract translators, editors, and proofreaders
    • Investigate client complaints regarding translations – holding both freelance and full-time employees accountable
    • Be responsible for any errors/omissions associated with their translation projects
    • Track and report on company-wide quality metrics
    • Juggle overlapping projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Perform other special projects or duties when required


    • An eye for detail and easily notice design and formatting matters.
    • Ability to maintain professionalism, focus and result-orientation under pressure and tight deadlines.
    • Proficient in PC usage.
    • Ability to roughly estimate the amount of time needed to complete a required job.
    • High level of written and spoken communication skills in Hebrew and English.
    • Willing to learn new skills and be open to challenges.
    • Work as part of a team, build relationships with co-workers, and commit to a high level of service.
    • Knowledge of an additional foreign language (Advantage).
    • Prior translation industry experience (Advantage).
    • Translation and/or linguistic proof official Certificate (Advantage).
