  • Responsibilities

    The Quality team of the Life Sciences department is a small, specialized group that plays a vital role in upholding the high quality standards of TransPerfect. What began as a special project under the direct supervision of the CEOs, the ISO Life Sciences department has grown steadily due to its continued success in improving client satisfaction.  The Quality Specialist will work alongside a group of intelligent, driven young professionals where he/she will be given the freedom to work autonomously to investigate systemic errors and create/implement new policies on a global level. He/She must be able to work with minimum supervision, while reporting directly to the Lead ISO Manager.

    • Conduct quality checks by proofreading/reviewing document sentence by sentence
    • Evaluate employee performances and ensure that any work produced meets client specifications
    • Manage recorded data for quality metrics reports and analyze trends
    • Report data on quality performance to CEO’s and senior management teams and make recommendations to improve internal workflow processes globally
    • Assist with various special projects including sales research and analysis, proposal composition, newsletter editing, etc.
    • Contribute to the development of new quality assessment policies and procedures

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
    • Extremely detail oriented with independent problem solving skills
    • A high sense of urgency coupled with the strong ability to multi-task
    • Propensity to effectively communicate and interact with senior managers
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong MS Office skills

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience editing/proofreading documents
