  • Responsibilities

    The Lead Software Developer is responsible for helping architect and build complex business systems for the delivery of service to end customers. The role will be the key architect and contributor for the design of new applications and related infrastructures. The Lead Software Developer will also help prototype, implement and deploy applications and services while helping guide the development team through a cradle to grave software development life cycle including support and maintenance. This role is an opportunity for a highly skilled passionate solution developer to be part of a team targeted to drive substantial business change rapidly. The Lead Software Developer will manage a team of more junior developers, but also must be a hands-on coder who prefers to be a mentor and a lead and be involved in the day-to-day architecture and coding aspects of the project and not someone who prefers to be a high level project manager.  The Lead Software Developer will be expected to be a coder and not soley a manager.

    • Design and architect elegant scalable real-time applications to help meet business requirements
    • Code solutions using appropriate languages while helping to drive the improvement of internal coding standards and best practices
    • Study system flow, data usage and user workflows to develop solutions for both internal and external customers
    • Interface with cross functional business units to collect business and end-user requirements
    • Author design specifications for new software solutions to drive internal development team
    • Help design and drive continuous improvements within the software development life cycle
    • Help to enforce technical architecture and documentation standards, policies and quality assurance procedures
    • Establish and drive testing and quality assurance procedures for new products through development to go-live
    • Provide support for project management tasks including planning, reporting and adherence
    • Work direct with inbound contact center teams to provide solutions to them.
    • Mentor and empower junior developers through knowledge transfer and coding guidance


    • Ability to define architecture, design complex integrated systems while developing technical depth and expertise in contact center operations
    • Strong passion and experience delivering highly compelling, quality consumer experiences through intuitive solution designs
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze operational processes and enact change through the delivery of customer solutions to meet business needs
    • Strong coding and development skills with experience in C#, .NET, XML, HTML, and MS SQL.
    • Experience in cross platform application development and integration
    • Experience building scalable WCF/WPF applications including web services
    • Exceptional problem solving & debugging skills
    • Awareness of emerging design patterns and technologies
    • Knowledge of contact center operations, advanced workforce management principles and processes is preferred
    • Strong math skills and attention to detail
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience, with strong academic record
    • 7+ years of experience with software architecture and designing complex integrated business systems
    • 5+ years of relevant programming experience using C# and .Net
