• HR Generalist (Benefits background)

  • Responsibilities


    Compensation and benefits - 

    • Administer different benefits plans in compliance with local regulations for TransPerfect Offices in EMEA and APAC
    • Partner with the Payroll team to ensure payroll and benefits related transactions (e.g. newhires, leavers, unpaid and sick leave, bonus and commission etc.) are processed and submitted to each international location payroll service providers by the payroll cutoff date each month
    • Supports international salary review processes and compile salary and benefits reports
    • Collaborate with the international HR teams to advise on international benefits implementation and administration process
    • Coordinates with the Finance /Account and Payroll department on social security contributions payment related activities (e.g. pensions; lunch vouchers etc.), and to reconcile with the database and previous months’ payments.
    • Manages and review service contracts relating to third party benefit suppliers


    HR operational support - 

    • Manage on-boarding and off-boarding in line with local regulations
    • Manage employees’ leave and absence and coordinate submission of necessary documentation for payroll
    • Manage employees’ off –cycle and in-cycle performance review process
    • Support the implementation and monitoring of yearly performance evaluation programs
    • Coordinate relevant training programs for HR and other departments
    • Manage the processes for relocations and transfers including necessary visa applications, payroll transfers, etc.
    • Maintain and Implement HRIS and employee file integrity
    • Run and create standard reporting from HRIS (turnover, benefits, etc.)
    • Work collaboratively with the international HR teams in countries such as HK; Japan; Spain and New York
    • Support and advise basic employee relations cases e.g. grievances and disciplinaries. This could involve arranging meetings and taking notes.  
    • Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for your role and assigned by your manager/supervisor


    Required skills: 

    • Good knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel)
    • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Knowledge and understanding of employment law
    • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations
    • Positive attitude, resiliency, and the ability to produce high quality and volume at a fast pace
    • Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries
