• Migration QA Manager

  • Responsibilities

    • Liaise with Solution Engineering managers regarding upgrade priorities
    • Liaise with Solutions team regarding requirements for product migration (environment, use cases, integrations, schedule, reporting, etc.)
    • Liaise with product team regarding timelines for new product releases
    • Coordinate requirements, timelines and test scope with Solutions Engineer/Architect, QA team, Production teams, and Product team if required.
    • Define job responsibilities and provide direction to QA team on documenting and executing test cases created from the provided use cases.
    • Monitor execution velocity to ensure timely delivery of testing results.
    • Establish and monitor processes for consistent test case execution, defect containment and reporting, and regression testing with an emphasis on test automation wherever possible.
    • Liaise with Product team regarding and questions on new products that arise during testing.
    • Provide technical direction and ensure standards are followed for QA design, documentation, automation and metrics.
    • Establish specific test suites for clients and develop test suites and audit reports to be run post upgrade
    • Help drive adoption of quality standards and standard development processes by working closely with the Product team.
    • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, relationship building/relationship management and facilitation skills



    • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering preferred
    • 4+ years of experience with Quality Assurance and Software Development Processes
    • Software testing background through extended quality assurance experience across various testing and quality assurance models and practices
    • Experience working with multi-site on shore and off shore Quality Assurance teams
    • Strong expertise with Automated Testing and Acceptance Test Driven Development
    • Strong client services focus
    • Ability to lead development of manual and automated test frameworks, standards, training, etc. that can be used across multiple application or product lines
    • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and the importance of QA involvement throughout the entire cycle
    • Ability to effectively work and communicate with multi-location teams
    • High level of demonstrated leadership and partnership
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships
    • Excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills
