  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for self-motivated individuals who have the ability to effectively communicate with clients in a professional setting, with the goal of making sure payment is received and applied in a timely manner.

    As a Billing Specialist, you'll be working in a business environment, building relationships with TransPerfect’s sales teams, and client’s accounts payable team, over the phone and through email. Your job is to become a single point of contact for all queries regarding payment for your assigned accounts, be it from the client, the sales team, or the accounts receivable team.



    • Manage the relationship between your assigned companies, our sales team, and our accounts receivable department, with the goal of reducing the amount of money each client has outstanding while still maintaining excellent client relationships
    • Building and expanding upon detailed client payment ‘best practices’ pages on the company intranet for your assigned accounts
    • Communicate with department management and the sales representatives regarding trends, concerns and client requests; and makes recommendations for improved efficiencies, and accountability
    • Respond to client inquiries and requests (e.g., executed W-9 forms, vendor agreements, bank details, etc.).
    • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned

    Your experience includes:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
    • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
    • Ability to be aggressive while maintaining good relationships
    • 0 – 2 years experience working in a professional setting
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
