    Our specialized Fashion Retail unit within Client Services is looking for someone passionate about the fashion industry that is business savvy, organized, and a problem solver and who can hit the ground running. If you thrive in a fashion retail world, have experience working as a project manager/account manager in a fashion environment, have problem solving skills, understand the sense of urgency of the fashion world, are capable of building meaningful relationship with our fashion clients, have well developed communication skills in Italian and English, then this could be the role for you! You must have a deep understanding of the Italian fashion retail or fashion retail industry in general. You should have a highly developed Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and the ability to smoothly collaborate with different cultures.


    You will work with some of the biggest fashion houses in the world and manage, meet and exceed localization needs by providing fast, reliable, friendly, and problem-solving services. Having localization experience is a plus. As an AM you will focus on client relationship building, account profitability, and account growth.


    The location of the position can be flexible, with the chance to work on-site in our Barcelona city centre offices, or alternatively there could be the possibility of remote working in Milan.


    The role of Account Director will include:


    Position responsibilities:

    • Onboard, plan, implement and oversee global expansion programs for various big fashion retail accounts and their corporate websites as well as online stores
    • Provide proposals, quotes, support, to clients’ requests as well as consulting on best practices for their localization programs
    • Monitor and communicate project progress, ensure strict adherence to deadlines and budgets, oversee smooth running of technology services, collaborate with production teams
    • Provide risk assessment and anticipating and resolving any potential roadblocks to successful website localization project completion
    • Build meaningful and lasting relationships clients/participate in client calls, presentations, business meetings and conferences  
    • Take a proactive role in learning about clients’ industry, business needs and company culture, educating the project team, identifying new business opportunities and providing a high level of service.


    Essential skills and experience required:

    • University degree and minimum 2 years of experience working within localization company as a PM, sales person, Account Manager or fashion retail environment
    • Superior written and spoken communication skills in English and Italian; business Spanish or German are helpful, other languages welcome.
    • Experience working on retail, e-commerce, website localization projects and understanding their needs are beneficial.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; MS Project. Ability to work on Excel reports. Working knowledge of TM tools. Familiarity with various TMS tools, software localization platforms,
    • Experience leading client facing meetings, business reviews, presenting processes, client building relationship etc.
    • Willingness to travel to offsite client or client business meetings
    • The ideal candidate will demonstrate ability to: multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build relationships with clients and co-workers, work independently and as part of a team, take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service.
    • Digital marketing/SEO/Social media/online stores management experience welcome
