  • Responsibilities

    The Interpretation Services Vendor Management is the team in charge of expanding the company’s network of freelance interpreters. To do so, we guide potential collaborators through our certification program which includes sourcing, screening, testing, rate negotiation and database updates.


    One of our main responsibilities is to build strong relationships with our linguists and maintain it by helping them with any issues or questions they may have, as well as to ensure good communication between external collaborators and internal employees. In addition, the team provides support to Production and Sales teams with linguist selection, RFP response assistance, training support and database updates.


    • Understand and abide by individual project instruction
    • Oversee the full life cycle of the onboarding process for interpreters including, recruitment, screening, testing, documentation, training and handover to project management team
    • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract vendors globally
    • Recruit new interpreters and any other necessary resources as needed
    • Ensure linguists are vetted and/or tested on their specialized skills
    • Communicate test results to candidates
    • Maintain accurate interpreter records, including medical clearance items, training records and certificates
    • Maintain central list of newly onboarded interpreters and communicate to the global team on a weekly basis
    • Update and maintain interpreter profiles in the central database
    • Update and maintain candidate records in department’s scheduling tool, InterAct
    • Assist with drafting vendor facing communication including quarterly newsletters
    • Assist with drafting new vendor training and revising existing materials to remain updated and complaint
    • Attend trade shows and conferences as needed
    • Perform other special projects or duties when required


    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
    • Ability to negotiate, maintain budgets, and schedules
    • Superior writing and communication skills within a professional context
    • Proficient with MS Office applications
    • Willing to learn new things, be open to challenges and thrive in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members when needed
    • Ability to maintain and update vast amounts of information accurately
