  • Responsibilities


    The Language Quality Lead helps to define linguistic quality management methodology by providing support to the company and our customers. The Language Quality Lead should own the program language quality output, data management and monitoring. We are looking for forward-thinking professionals who are more interested in how things could become and who can thrive in an evolving and fast-paced environment.



    • Own the quality of one or more dedicated enterprise accounts or projects.
    • Guide, assist, coach and monitor the team of language leads assigned to the account.
    • Execute and maintain the language quality plan designed for the account.
    • Mediate communication between the customer, TDC and other stakeholders regarding quality and overall quality.
    • Challenge status and seek new ways to gain incremental improvements.
    • Research and deploy methods to improve quality and knowledge retention and management.
    • Support the customer, TDC and other stakeholders (client reviewers, language leads, etc.) in terms of linguistic processes, tools and linguistic quality management, providing high-input on management of existing linguistic assets (glossaries, style guides, TMs, etc.), query management workflows and any other related linguistic issues.
    • Helps design processes to centralize feedback collection and analysis based on the specific needs of the account.
    • Manage process through the review step, participating in the selection and organization of reviewers, training initiatives, development and evaluation.
    • Manage data on quality and resource performance, produce statistical reports and create related documentation.
    • Track and analyze quality statistics output, analyze quality issues and define and approve corrective action plans.
    • Customize client instructions or create instructions from scratch, as necessary, to ensure localization teams are clear on process, methodology, technology and deliverables.
    • Implement tracking tools in both the technology available and in new technical developments to streamline, automate and centralize quality processes as much as possible.
    • Closely collaborate with the Reporting Manager to evolve the reporting system and develop advanced reports, specifically target-oriented. Research on application of new data sources to implement real-time data updates.

    • Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent ideally in a language field
    • Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills in order to meet commitments and deadlines
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
