  • Responsibilities

     Understand TransPerfect’s quality standards and make sure they are upheld to meet the client’s expectations
     Consult with Project Coordinators/Managers to discuss the client’s expectations and be able to understand the instructions provided to meet the client’s expectations
     Properly utilize all appropriate supplemental materials (refer to client PAQ, reference material, glossaries, etc.)
     Pre-flight source files and discuss any findings with the project manager before QC work begins to assess difficulty and foresee issues
     Perform non-linguistic revision to all documents with great attention to details with a strong focus on names, numbers, missing text, punctuation and adherence to instructions
     Provide feedback to Project Managers or others who are involved in the project

    Qualifications

     Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, other languages would be an asset
     University Degree (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies)
     Previous experience in a similar role
     Detail orientation with the ability to multitask
     Ability to meet deadlines
     Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
     Independence in carrying out assigned tasks
     Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
     Highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows)
     Be flexible with changes of priorities
