  • Responsibilities

    • Be responsible for a range of activities, from administrative to support of large projects and strategic initiatives.
    • Work with Managers to understand business needs and define HR strategies.
    • Support core HR operational end to end processes.
    • Ensure compliance with country regulations concerning all aspects of employment (vacation, overtime pay, employee benefit eligibility, health & safety, etc).
    • Provide legal advice on labor and social security matters, including judiciary claims, audit processes (due diligence), inspections by labor authorities, employment conditions, etc.
    • Manage employee relations issues.
    • Assist employees in answering any pertinent questions regarding regulations and policies.
    • Preparation of legal documents and reports.
    • Research, recommend and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and the services performed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations or related field
    • Previous experience as an HR Specialist or HR Business Partner, ideally within a large scale Operations based environment
    • Expertise in Spain employment / labor law
    • Fluency in Spanish and English, both verbally and written communication
    • Decision making / complex problem solving skills
    • Negotiation and influencing skills - able to listen to and persuade others based on sound logic
    • Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Impeccable organization skills
    • High dependability; be there to support the business
