    Job Description:
    The Dutch Copywriter will be the leading go-to creative for all things Dutch. You will be responsible for writing snappy and engaging copy aiming to persuade target audiences of numerous prominent brands in fashion, marketing and lifestyle.  With superb writing skills, a creative approach and industry knowledge, you are expected to oversee the entire creative process, from pitch to delivery, across digital, print, video and mobile. Working closely with our production and digital departments, editing, proofreading and cultural consultancy are also part of the job description.


    Job Tasks:

    • Create compelling Dutch copy from scratch according to creative briefs
    • Adapting witty digital marketing & e-commerce copy from English into Dutch
    • Editing and proofreading local copy to guarantee accuracy, proper grammar and correct punctuation
    • Maintaining appropriate and consistent brand voice, tone and style across all local copy
    • Creating and maintaining style guides and glossaries, establishing clear guidelines on how copy is to be written for the brand in your market, across channels and departments
    • Sit in on creative briefs to ensure they are complete and clear on what is expected before production
    • Ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction



    Job Requirements:

    • Impeccable command of the Dutch language, including spelling, usage, vocabulary and grammar (native level)
    • Persuasive copywriting/copy-adaptation skills, and a willingness to improve those rapidly
    • Sound knowledge of trends, brands, designers and the overall culture of fashion
    • Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to move comfortably between projects while maintaining high levels of quality and detail
    • Preferably a degree in Creative Writing, Fashion, Marketing, Journalism, Modern Languages, Creative Translation or related
    • Familiar with social media and its uses in building a brand and engaging an audience
    • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices or willingness to learn
